The focus remains on delivering classes suited to all abilities in a safe environment with fully qualified coaches."

"The journey is the most important goal, not the destination." Start your journey at Havering Gymnastics today!

Welcome to our website - and thank you for showing an interest in choosing what could very well be one of the best physical activities for your child. What makes gymnastics so special? Through structured coaching sessions, gymnasts show progress in many key developmental areas. Gymnastics can build physical fitness, improving on: flexibility, co-ordination, core strength, balance and agility. In addition to the physical benefits, gymnasts will gain increased confidence and self esteem, a sense of achievement, encouragement from their peers and above all FUN!

To get involved...

Havering Gymnastics provide classes for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. All our coaches are individual members of British Gymnastics and are fully insured. Check out our relevant Classes Pages for more specific information on all the classes available and how your child can become involved!

Aiming high...

At London 2012 Artistic Gymnastics continued its tradition of being one of the most enthralling and well watched Olympic sports. Team GB won four gymnastics medals at the London Olympics and since then the success story of British Gymnastics has continued: The senior and junior teams won a record 24 medals at the European Artistic Championships in Bulgaria in 2014. More and more children feel inspired by the success of our athletes and want to take up gymnastics competitively. If your child shows talent and desire they may  be invited into a squad. This is where they will learn more complicated skills and will start to put routines together ready to compete in club, county, regional and national competitions.

It is a great achievement to be selected for our squad and gymnasts are expected to follow the rules of the gym as well as the instructions of the coaches.  Squads train from two to five times a week and take responsibility for their progress and commitment. Our aim is to give them the tools and specialised training to ensure that your budding gymnast reaches their full potential.

It is an amazing time to be a part of British Gymnastics and we hope to encourage children to take part in this exciting sport and to unlock the potential of all. Please have a look around our website for more specific information about gymnastics in general and Havering Gymnastics in particular - and please don't forget to like us on facebook to keep up to date with us!
